I'm watching "Welcome to Sarajevo" again as "research" for my paper on the war in Bosnia, and I just have to say that Goran Visnjic is too beautiful for words.

This is the best research session ever.

EXCEPT FOR THE PART WHERE HE DIES. I FORGOT ABOUT THAT PART.

I'll never quite understand what compels me to watch movies about people dying in the middle of the night. I once decided to watch Atonement, hoping it would make me "feel better". Yeah, it made me feel better alright. GREAT MOVIE. EVERYBODY DIED.

I'm considering migrating over to LJ permanently, since my blog is collecting dust mostly due to a) time constraints and b) my paranoia about revealing any kind of personal/professional information anywhere I can't control all access to. I'm probably taking the latter too far, since I'm not a CIA operative or anything of the sort, but we were instructed to keep these concerns in mind for future professional endeavors, so that's kind of what I'm focusing on. That and the format of LJ is probably better for any kind of short blurbs I want to post. We'll see how it goes :)
